According to this article by Paul de Barros in today’s Seattle Times, the International Association for Jazz Education (IAJE) will soon be no more. Hobbled by growth that outstripped management’s ability to maintain and fund, of all things, the organization will go into Chapter 7 bankruptcy and be liquidated.
